Making Your Dining Room Pop for the Holidays

As the holiday seasons approach, we all begin to think about family gatherings and good food.  It seems as though everyone congregates in the kitchen and dining room.  To make this season even more special here are a few ideas to make your dining room drip with ambience.

Make your table pop by using ordinary items found in your home.  By grouping items in the center of the table and then using fabric, scarves or table runners you can create a tablescape in no time.

Switch out your arm chairs with two upholstered chairs or tie fabric or ribbon around the back of your existing chairs.

Use lighting to shake up your room for the holidays.  By changing lamps or lamp shades or adding something special to the shade, you can create a totally different look.

Go ahead and be daring! The holidays are the time to be bold and over the top.  Try things you wouldn’t ordinarily do! Have fun and enjoy the season!
